Inspired by this article about what happens when you delete your Facebook account, I decided to try an experiment of my own. After all, I really wanted to see who would miss me if I left Facebook.
The results of my experiment were a little disappointing. The only people who would miss me are relatives, and the Facebook algorithm mystifyingly chose old family photos from the 80′s that we all happen to be tagged on. Weird. Seems like Marshall Kirkpatrick may have gotten a more interesting result. Anyone else brave enough to go “almost” all the way to deleting their FB account just to see who will miss them? Post your results. And yeah, I’m really glad that old photo is not clear enough for you to see how we really looked back then.

I’d definitely miss you! Speaking of missing, Mark and I realized this week that we’d each intended to send “welcome” gifts to Alex and Matan and both thought the other had done so. Come to find out that we’d crossed signals and the gifts never got sent. So I’m now officially taking responsibility for
trying again…previous msg got posted before I was done!
…sending both kids something they can use! What size is Matan? I was thinking of summer clothes (3T? or ??) from Baby Gap but if there is something more practical please let me know.
Debra
Dear Debra, well, I was grateful to discover that at least my family members would miss me.
There is really no need to send anything. We are set here, although I do love baby Gap/Old Navy. I don’t know if you remember, but you all sent Karen an absolutely lovely Laura Ashely dress when we brought her home. She wore it to so many events and was still able to fit into it a few months ago. Yes, it was a bit small (she’s 5, after all), but she just didn’t want to give it up it was so pretty. I have Youtube videos of her dancing in it at her pre-school graduation party, which you have probably already suffered thru, but in case you missed them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btrIZn-L4Jo&feature=channel

That said, Matan is doing well with clothes, but he is still a pretty small size. Still wearing 18-24 months. But growing fast, so I hope he’ll be in a 2-3 by end of summer. We also happily accept hand-me-downs
I’m a little late, but I’d miss you too. Maybe FB just couldn’t find a cute enough pic of me
